Starting Point
Sometimes it comes as a surprise to people, but Christianity is a reasonable faith. Just as Jesus invited dialog and inquiry and the Apostle Paul engaged in conversations with Greek philosophers, honest questions seeking answers about Christianity deserve to be satisfied.
We need not check in our brains in the lobby before walking into church each Sunday. In fact, God calls us to worship him with all our heart and mind. Often, the prejudicial view of religious people is that they are guided by blind faith. Faith, yes. Blind, no.
The purpose of Starting Point is to present the essentials of the faith, to help seekers and believers alike better understand Christianity, what we believe and why. Starting point meets on Sundays from 12:30-2pm (4 weeks & you can start any Sunday) at the Celebration Center #213B.
